About Labuan Cermin Lake
Labuan Cermin Lake is one of Berau's best-known inland natural attractions.
Its Indonesian name roughly translates to “Mirror Harbour/Lake,” referring to water so transparent and reflective that the landscape can appear mirrored across the surface.
The lake is also popularly known as Danau Dua Rasa, or the “two-flavoured lake,” because different water characteristics occur within the same body of water. The phenomenon is connected to its coastal setting and surrounding karst hydrology.
